Day 16 Poem: walk of the cross, 2022

 walk of the cross, 2022
 
Today, Good Friday, Walk of the Cross -
  hand in hand, we move slowly, step by step, as one;
    Men, women, children, at each station, we pray;
voice of a child, who reads God’s Word, pause -
  Cross held high for all to see, adore the Son;
    Jesus died for us, for we all stray;
hushed as one, at a school we pray, to give
  a gift from heaven, Grace, here under the sun;
    Mary walks with us, shows us the way
to be humble of heart, to love, to live
        today.
