The lady in red and her in pink he asks for a Valentine dance with lace
Two strangers come together at a Ball in a Hall and leather meets lace

Back to work hard windows walls washing cleaning overalls replace
Help comes to play no commitment just time she is still loving lace

At a loss where can she be looking everywhere third time is a breeze
Friendly encounter no dates please coffee or tea there is still lace

Quiet and talking leather is here with strength with arms to help
Trust builds slowly coming the music is still here and so is lace

First encounters soft fire gentle walking and talking quiet presence
Faith glimmers with promise new things to come hope's silver lace

Time to come home Penelope leave hard things behind for this man is
Patience and love kiss embrace new life for this leather loves lace.
